Bobcat Engine

Bobcat Engine Introduction in Europe

Development of the new Stage IIIB and Stage IV-compliant engine was a collaboration between Bobcat, Doosan and some of the world’s top engineering consultants and engine design firms — Ricardo, FEV and others.

These new solutions combine Doosan’s 50 years of engine-building experience with Bobcat’s 50 years of compact equipment leadership. Combining Doosan’s experience with that of our partners’ results in more than 200 years of experience in engine design and development and compact equipment expertise.

Bobcat engines have been developed with a new combustion system to meet the EU Stage IIIB / Stage IV without DPF. We named this as ULPC (Ultra Low PM Combustion) system.
